About Me

I first became curious about the head and neck area while watching a boxing match when I was junior year in high school. I wondered, how could someone just collapse from a punch to their jaw? I noticed similar injuries can also happen during NFL games, where one of the players lost consciousness after bumping into each other head to head at very high speeds. I learned these problems are not just limited to athletes who play contact sports, but they are everywhere–jumping on a trampoline, rear-ended car accident, or even playing water sports during summer.

Just knowing that there are people exist who suffer from an unexpected head-and-neck injuries like above, I realized how crucial the head and neck area is, and that this body part requires careful attention. Whether they suffer from chronic pain or complex neurological health issues, restoring body balance and keeping the head aligned is crucially important and vital to proper recovery.

While working as an associate with Dr. Young Chung at NUCCA Wellness Clinic of Chicago, I met well over 1,000 patients with brain and spine disorders. Of those 1,000+ patients, I noticed there are too many people who are not properly recovering from the ongoing health issues strictly due to their negligence to their head and neck. In my first five years of associateship, I learned about how human body has incredible capacity to adapt, and as a NUCCA chiropractor, I have to strive for technical and clinical excellence, knowing many patients depend on my ability to help them effectively in a timely manner.

This experience laid a solid foundation for me to develop my personalized program, focusing at helping people with various chronic health conditions. These include regular headaches, migraines, Vertigo (characterized by a ‘spinning’ sensation), chronic neck and back pain, numbness and tingling, pins and needles, arm pain, sciatica (nerve pain in the leg), Meniere’s disease, symptoms related to post-concussion (mTBI), trigeminal neuralgia (nerve pain in the face), jaw pain, and bite issues.
